"Pork steaks with a sophisticated look and a wonderful taste! What more could one want?"

Ingredients

  • pork steaks - 4 pcs. (pork neck steaks without bone)
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • for the sauce
  • milk - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • white flour - 3 tsp.
  • cooking cream - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • white wine - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • chicken broth - 1/2 cube
  • fresh thyme - 2 - 3 sprigs
  • garlic powder - 1 pinch
  • butter - 1.8 oz (50 g)
measures

How to make

Season the pork steaks with salt and black pepper and refrigerate them for about 20 minutes. Put most of the butter in a frying pan and heat it over high heat.

Fry the steaks on both sides for about 4 minutes on each side. Remove steaks and keep them in a warm place.

Add the remaining butter to the pan. Reduce the temperature and fry the flour, until it acquires a golden color.

Add the wine, milk, cream, garlic powder and broth, by breaking it up to dissolve more easily.

Add the thyme sprigs and mix well, until a homogeneous sauce is obtained. Reduce the heat and leave the sauce to simmer for about 10 minutes.

Add the steaks and cook for another 5-7 minutes. Serve them with mashed potatoes or another side dish of your choice.

The pork neck steaks with sauce and thyme are very tasty.
