"Slightly non-traditional schnitzels, which, however, are our absolute favorite"

Ingredients

  • minced meat - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • boiled pumpkin - 1 slice
  • oatmeal - 3 tbsp.
  • milk - 4 tbsp (60 ml)
  • black pepper
  • cumin
  • oregano
  • parsley
  • breadcrumbs - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • onion - 1 onion (grated)
  • oil - for frying
measures

How to make

The pumpkin is boiled in salted water, strained and pureed. Pour the milk over the oatmeal and leave it for 10 minutes to soften.

The minced meat is mixed with grated onion and add the pumpkin puree, oatmeal, oregano, cumin, finely chopped parsley.

A sticky, soft mixture is obtained. Sprinkle half of the breadcrumbs on the cling film and form two or three schnitzels on top.

Sprinkle with the remaining breadcrumbs on top, tap them with your fingers, so that they stick and shape them well. Leave them for 20-30 minutes in the freezer, so that the mixture hardens.

In a bowl, beat the eggs, dip the schnitzels and fry them on moderate heat on both sides, until they aquire a golden brown color. Serve them with a garnish of french fries and fresh tomatoes.

The pumpkin and oatmeal schnitzels are ready.
