Ingredients

  • onion - 1 small onion
  • parsley - a pinch
  • minced meat - 0.9 lb (400 g)
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • bread - 1 slice (dry)
  • cumin - a pinch
  • black pepper - a pinch
  • sauce
  • butter - 1 lump
  • salt
  • nutmeg - a pinch
  • mushrooms - 9 oz (250 g) mix
  • flour - 2 tbsp.
  • black pepper - a pinch
  • lemon juice - 3 drops

How to make

Put the minced meat in a bowl. Add the egg, the bread soaked in water and the chopped onion to it. Season with cumin, black pepper and parsley. Knead the minced meat and shape the meatballs.

Fry them. Finely chop the mushrooms. Stew them in butter in a pot for ten minutes. You can add 3 tbsp. of hot water. Fry 2 tbsp. of flour in a pan.

Pour 200 ml of warm water. Season with nutmeg, salt and black pepper. Stir, until it thickens. Add the mushrooms and lemon juice to the mushroom sauce. Leave the dish for 4 minutes.

Arrange meatballs with sauce.

Serve the meatballs in a wonderful mushroom sauce in the company of mashed potatoes.
