"If the classic hummus seems a bit boring, try this one - with a rich taste and aromatic savory herb"

Ingredients

  • canned chickpeas - 8.5 oz (240 g)
  • sesame tahini - 1 tbsp.
  • dried cherry tomatoes - 7 - 8 pcs.
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp. (from the jar of dried tomatoes)
  • savory herb - 2 - 3 pinches
  • turmeric - 1/2 tsp.
  • salt - 1 - 2 pinches
  • black pepper
  • water - 2 tbsp (30 ml)

How to make

Put chickpeas, sesame tahini, dried tomatoes, olive oil, savory herb, turmeric, salt, black pepper and water in a blender and blend, until a smooth mixture is obtained.

If blending is difficult, add some more water.

Season with extra salt, if necessary.

Garnish the hummus with a little savory herb, dried cherry tomatoes and olive oil.

Serve the hummus with chopped fresh vegetables and crackers.
