How to make
Beat the sugar, eggs and butter. Add all other products and finally - the flour. Knead a dough and let it rise. Roll out the risen dough into a sheet with a thickness of 0.5″ (1 cm) with your hands, cut out rectangles, put in a little fruit or jam and tuck by pressing the edges well.
Arrange the fritters in a buttered pan and smear them with a little butter. Leave them to rise, then bake for 20 minutes at 430°F (220 °C). Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
