How to make
Dissolve the yeast in a little warm water with sugar. Make the kefir from the yoghurt and water, it needs to be relatively thick. Mix all the products and knead a smooth and soft dough. Leave it in a warm place to rise for 30 minutes.
Roll the dough out into a sheet with a thickness of 3/4″ (2 cm) and using a cup or another form, cut circles out. Let them fry in plenty of hot oil. You will see them begin to swell.
You have to flip them over to fry evenly on all sides. Drain the ready Saturday fritters on a cooking grid or paper towels. Serve them sprinkled with powdered sugar, jam, compote or a salty garnish.
