"Are you ready to try some really delicious spelt biscuits with apple and cinnamon - here they are"

Ingredients

  • butter - 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • water - 5 tbsp (75 ml)
  • sugar - 3 tbsp.
  • eggs - 2 medium - sized eggs
  • honey - 1 tbsp. with a tip
  • oatmeal - 2.7 oz (75 g)
  • spelt flour - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • baking powder - 1 tsp.
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp.
  • green apples - 1 pc.
  • raisins and blueberries mix - 1.8 oz (50 g)

How to make

In a small pot, heat water, honey, sugar and butter, until it has melted. Add the oatmeal, stir and pour the flour with baking powder and cinnamon.

Remove it from the heat, add 2 eggs and stir with a wooden spatula, until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

The peeled apple is grated and added to the dough and if it is diluted pour another 1 tbsp. of spelt flour and then the raisins and blueberries.

Form 15 biscuits onto baking paper with two tablespoons.

Bake them in a preheated oven at 390°F (200 degrees), until they aquire a golden brown color, for about 15-18 minutes and then take them out to cool.

They are very tasty and great for coffee or a cup of tea!
