  • pork liver - 1.3 lb (600 g)
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • onions - 3 pcs.
  • peppers - 1 pc. red + 1 pc. green
  • mushrooms - 7 oz (200 g)
  • savory herb
  • black pepper
  • parsley
  • oil
  • salt

How to make

The liver is drained from the blood for several hours.

Heat the oil in a pot or a frying pan and add the onion, cut into crescents, the carrot - into circles and the peppers cut into strips.

The mushrooms are cut into large pieces and they are added as well.

Stew until all the vegetables have softened. The liver is cut into cubes and added to the vegetables.

Mix everything. After 3-4 minutes, add the paprika, the other spices and pour 1 cup water or white wine.

Cover the pan with a lid and stew the delicious fried liver, by leaving it to simmer for 5-10 minutes.

Remove it from the heat and sprinkle the village-style stewed pork liver with chopped fresh parsley.
