Carefully clean the mushrooms with a slightly damp cloth. Cut the stumps, because they are tough and will not be used. Then sprinkle them with black pepper and salt.
Prepare the eggs for the breading. Beat them with a pinch of salt. In a separate bowl, mix the flour along with the garlic powder.
Roll the mushrooms in flour, then dip them in the egg and fry them in heated fat, until they aquire a golden tan.
Place the breaded mushrooms onto kitchen paper, which will absorb the excess fat.
