Ingredients

  • potatoes - 3 pcs. (about 500 g)
  • carrots - 2 pcs.
  • cream cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • leeks - 12 oz (350 g)
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • vegetable cream - 7 oz (200 g)
  • olive oil - 2 and 2/3 tbsp (40 ml)
  • nutmeg - 2 pinches
  • yellow cheese - for sprinkling
  • black pepper - 2 pinches
  • salt - by taste

How to make

Clean and chop the carrots, finely chop the garlic and cut the leeks into circles. Heat the fat on a low heat. Season it with salt and black pepper and stew it for ten minutes.

Peel the potatoes and finely chop them. Put them in a saucepan with olive oil, salt, nutmeg and 1 cup (200 ml) of water. Put them on the stove to soften, but not for a long time.

Mix all the potato gratin products, add the vegetable cream and mix everything. Pour everything into a baking pan.

Spread the yellow cheese and cream cheese on top. Bake the easy gratin in a preheated to 390°F (200 degrees) oven until it's fully baked and aquires a golden brown color.
