How to make
In a bowl sift the flour and cut the cold butter into cubes. Add salt, vanilla sugar and sugar.
Using a fork or cold hands, mix the dough until it crumbles with quick movements. Add the cold water and form the dough into a ball. Sprinkle it with a little flour and store it in an bag in the refrigerator to set.
Peel the apples and cut them into eights.
In a baking pan, in which you will bake the tart, add the sugar to caramelize. Once the sugar has melted, add the butter.
Arrange the apples in the form of a fan.
Roll out the dough according to the size of the pan, but not into a very thin sheet. Cover the apples and press it on the sides.
Bake it in a preheated oven at 390°F (200 degree) until the tart is fully baked.
Turn the baked and cooled tart over onto a plate and it can be served with a ball of vanilla ice cream.
