"A quick calzone for hungry people"

Ingredients

  • For the dough
  • flour - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • sugar - 1/2 tsp.
  • dry yeast - 0.25 oz (7 g)
  • olive oil - 1.7 fl oz (50 ml)
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • lukewarm water - 8.5 fl oz (250 ml)
  • For the stuffing
  • minced meat - 9 oz (250 g)
  • yellow cheese - 7 oz (200 g)
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • onions - 1 onion
  • tomato puree - 3 tbsp.
  • oregano - 1 pinch
  • black pepper - 1 pinch

How to make

Fry the minced meat with the onion and then add the tomato puree, stir and mix it with oregano and black pepper. Remove it from the heat to cool.

During this time, prepare the dough.

Put the water, sugar, olive oil and salt in the container of the bread maker, pour the flour mixed with the yeast on top. Let the machine knead a smooth dough, take it out and leave it to rise until its volume doubles.

Once it rises, divide it into 4 parts and pull each one out into a 3 mm thick round crust. At one end we put the fried minced meat and grated yellow cheese.

Fold it, press the edges and let it rest for 30 minutes. Spread it with a beaten egg on top.

Place it in a tray covered with baking paper and bake the calzone pizzas at 390°F (200 degrees) for 20 minutes.

After removing the pizzas from the oven, spray them with water and cover them with a towel to soften, but if you prefer the crispy pizza, skip this step.

The calzone pizza with minced meat is ready.
