How to make
Pour the water into a heated pan on the stove. Add the butter, sugar and stir until it has melted.
Cook at a moderate temperature, the mixture should not boil. Add the flour gradually, while stirring constantly, so that no lumps form. You should get a fluffy boiled dough.
Leave the finished dough in a bowl to cool. Add egg and stir again.
Break the chocolate into pieces and melt it in a water bath.
Heat oil in another pan. Transfer the dough into a piping bag and start squeezing the churros out directly into the heated fat. Fry them until they aquire a golden color.
Roll the fried churros in powdered sugar and garnish them with melted dark chocolate.
