"Great Spanish Churros, richly dipped in chocolate ganache"

Ingredients

  • flour - 9 oz (250 g)
  • water - 1 4/5 cups (450 ml)
  • sugar - 1 tsp (5 g)
  • salt - 1/5 tsp (1 g)
  • butter - 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • eggs - 4 pcs.
  • oil - for frying
  • confectionery cream - 2/5 cup (100 ml) or milk
  • dark chocolate - 2.1 oz (60 g)
  • powdered sugar - for decoration

How to make

Heat the water in a small pot on the stove. Add the butter and salt to it.

After the butter has melted, add the sugar and flour. Start mixing, until a thick mixture is obtained, which slightly sticks to the bottom.

Remove it from the stove. Add the eggs one by one and mix, until each egg is absorbed well.

Heat oil on the stove or in a deep fryer at a medium heat. Pipe out the dough into the oil and fry, until the churros aquire a dark orange color.

Churros are thinner and longer.

Then make the ganache, by heating the cream on the stove without boiling it.

Pour it over the crushed chocolate and wait 10 seconds. After they the time is up, stir until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Dip one end of the prepared Spanish Churros into the ganache.
