  • cherry juice - 2 tbsp.
  • sugar - 7 oz (200 g)
  • vanilla sugar - 1 sachet
  • soft butter - 9 oz (250 g)

measures

How to make

Turn on the oven to heat up - if it is with a fan at 360°F (180 degrees), if not, at 390°F (200 degrees).

Put both types of sugar and butter in the bowl of the mixer or in a separate bowl. Beat the mixture until the sugar dissolves. Add the eggs one by one.

In another bowl, mix the baking powder and flour and pour it over the eggs. Add a little milk so that the dough does not become too thick. Add the cherry juice.

Prepare a cake tin in which you will bake the cherry cake. Pour the cherries into a colander to strain the excess liquid. If they are have seeds, remove them. Pour them into the dough.

Put baking paper in the cake tin, pour the mixture for the fragrant cake in it and bake it for 35 minutes.

Once the fruit cake has cooled down, sprinkle it with powdered sugar.

The German cherry cake is a great company for afternoon coffee!
