Ingredients

  • eggs - 4
  • sugar - 1 2/5 cups (350 g)
  • butter - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • cream cheese - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • flour - 1 1/5 cups (280 g)
  • almond flour - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • coconut flakes - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • baking powder - 2 tsp (10 g)
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • cherries - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling

How to make

Beat the soft butter with the sugar to a fluffy mixture.

Add the cream cheese and continue beating. Add the eggs 1 by 1, while beating nonstop, until fully absorbed.

Gradually add the almond flour, coconut flakes, vanilla and the white flour, mixed with the baking powder.

Pour the prepared mixture into a baking form, arrange the pre-cleaned and pitted cherries on top.

Put in a preheated 320°F (160 °C) oven and bake about 70 min. You can sprinkle the ready cake with powdered sugar.
