How to make
Put all the flour in a large bowl, then add the eggs 1 by 1, milk, yeast (it is best to have it slightly warm), sugar, oil, vanilla, and grated lemon. Knead a soft dough, which does not stick.
Leave it to rise well, then make 3-4 balls from it and roll them into a crust of about 1/2″ (1 cm). Cut each crust into triangles. On each triangle, put chocolate or marmalade and wrap starting from the wide to the narrow side.
Grease a tray with oil and arrange the scones, leave them to rise again in the pan and then coat them with egg, sprinkle with poppy seeds and bake at 360°F (180 °C) for about 25-30 minutes until slightly yellow.
