Ingredients

  • pumpkin - 1 pc. (Moschata or Violin)
  • sugar - 6 - 7 tbsp.
  • crushed walnuts - 1 cup
  • cinnamon powder - 2 tsp.
  • fruit jam - 1 cup (in my case quince)

How to make

Peel the pumpkin, clean it out and cut it into 2-3 cm pieces. Arrange it in a suitable tray along with 1 cup of water. Sprinkle it with 4-6 (preferably) tbsp. of sugar.

Bake the pumpkin at 360°F (180 degrees) for 90 minutes. In the middle of baking, it needs to be stirred.

The last 2-3 minutes, turn on the grill, so it can aquire a nice golden color.

Make a mixture of walnuts, cinnamon and 1 tbsp. of sugar. Sprinkle it evenly over the pumpkin.

Arrange the fruits pieces from the jam on top.
