How to make
The apples are cut into halves. They are cleaned from the seeds and arranged in a tray.
The nuts from five to six walnuts are crushed into small pieces.
They are placed in a glass of water to moisten and not burn during baking. Each apple is sprinkled with cinnamon and filled with walnuts.
The apples are baked for about twenty minutes in an oven heated to 390°F (200°C).
When the juice they release begins to caramelize and the apples soften, they are ready.
