measures

How to make

The cup I used to measure the products is 150 ml.

Mix the baking soda, baking powder, flour, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, beat the butter and both types of sugar.

Add the eggs one at a time to the butter cream. Add the milk in portions and then the dry ingredients for the fruit cake.

Peel the apples and cut them into pieces. Add them to the mixture and pour them into a 24 cm baking pan lined with baking paper.

Sprinkle the appetizing apple cake with a mixture of cinnamon, brown sugar and walnuts. Bake for half an hour at 360°F (180°C).

After the Dutch Cake with Apples, Walnuts and Cinnamon has cooled, cut it and eat it.

I have not yet baked this cake, but if you use the 150 ml measuring cup for all the ingredients, the batter may be a bit richer since proportionately more butter and eggs would be used in the batter. Be mindful of the measurements. It would be helpful to have some knowledge of metric measurements or have been a long-time baker.

Misleading recipe - cups are 250 ml- please adjust your quantities accordingly if you really want anyone to make this cake.

The directions are not very helpful, it would be better standard units of measurement were used. a "cup" is usually 250 mL. Butter is usually measured in tbsp or cups
