How to make
Peel the apples, clean and cut them into quarters and then arrange them in a tray. Mix the honey with a little sugar and pour it over the apples.
Bake them in a moderately heated oven. Caramelize the remaining sugar with the butter, until it aquires a golden color. Add the juice from the compote and leave it to boil.
Add the finely crushed walnuts and mix everything well. Bake the apple slices, pour the warm syrup over them and serve them.
