How to make
Guacamole is a Mexican sauce, widespread and known throughout the world.
It is prepared on the basis of avocado and in its authentic form contains only the base of avocado, tomato, chili, and lime or lemon juice. All this was mashed or crushed in a special stone mortar, without it turning into mush.
Subsequently, onions, garlic, and coriander were added.
Making Guacamole is very easy. For this purpose, if you do not have a stone mortar, you can use a wooden one.
Another option is to mash the avocado in a plastic bowl with a plastic fork or a handy utensil.
Mix with lime juice and add finely chopped tomatoes, chili, onion, coriander, and garlic. The last three are optional. Season with salt to taste or add another spicy note, with Tabasco or more hot chili or Jalapeno. Mix everything well.
It is also very beautiful if you just cut all the products very finely, including the avocado, without crushing it, and mix it with lime juice, salt and chopped coriander.
There is also an option to puree all products to a fine puree, but the Mexicans call that Aguamole.
Serve Guacamole with corn tortilla chips - nachos, on a toasted bread slice with olive oil, in sandwiches, fajitas, or even salads.
Enjoy your meal!
