measures

How to make

Put the mince in a bowl. To it add the finely chopped onions, bread slices (soaked in water ahead of time).

Add the spices, a little water and knead well. Leave the mince in the fridge for 1 hour. Form meatballs from it and braise them. Peel the potatoes and cut them into round slices.

Fry them in the same oil in which you fried the potatoes. Cut the tomatoes and peppers into round slices. In an oven dish, begin to arrange in the following order: meatball, potato, tomato, meatball, potato etc.

Put some peppers here and there between them. Bake at 390°F (200 °C) for 15 min. Dilute the tomato paste in 1 1/5 cups (300 ml) hot water. Take the dish out and pour this over it.

Return to the oven, turn the heat up to 480°F (250 °C) and your dish will be ready in 15-20 min. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. A fantastically delicious dish from Turkish cuisine.
