How to make
An ideal recipe for the winter days - homemade lamb broth.
Grab the bones with leftover meat and fat and wash them well under running water, put the bones in a large pot or saucepan and top up with water.
Once it starts to boil, add salt, black pepper and bay leaf and simmer over low heat.
From time to time clean the foam that forms on top and throw it away. After about four hours of cooking the bones, the meat separates from the bone by itself and we can now turn off the stove.
Clean the meat, strain the broth and wait a day for it to cool down.
The next day, remove the fat that has covered the entire surface of the pan and put it in small single use plastic containers.
In the same way, put the broth, which has turned into jelly, in disposable containers and place all the broth and fat in the freezer.
This lamb broth is suitable for all kinds of dishes, instead of buying it, we're using homemade broth. It is most suitable for small children.
