How to make

The turkey legs are cleaned and washed very well.

Put them in a deep pot.

Pour water and leave it to boil.

The onion is cleaned, washed and cut into quarters.

Wash and peel the carrots for the homemade broth.

The celery stalks are washed and cut in half.

The parsley is cleaned and washed. The stems are not removed.

After the water boils, add the chopped onion, carrots, celery, parsley, bay leaf and salt.

Boil it again, then the heat is reduced to a low temperature, so that it does not boil, but simmers for 4 hours.

Add hot water periodically as the water evaporates, so that the turkey and vegetables are covered with liquid.

Remove the foam with a slotted spoon.

After 4 hours of simmering, the pot is removed from the hob and placed on a wooden board.

Remove the meat and vegetables, by straining the broth into a clean pot.

The strained turkey broth is left to cool, then the fat, which has solidified on the surface is removed.

The Homemade Turkey Broth is distributed into bowls and it can be frozen.
