Ingredients

  • potatoes - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • dill - 1 tsp. dried + fresh
  • oil - 3 tbsp.
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • olive oil - for sprinkling
measures

How to make

As you know, in restaurants, sauteed potatoes are made with half-cooked potatoes, because they do not have much time to prepare raw potatoes, which takes more time.

Peel and wash the potatoes, cut them into four pieces so that the pieces are not too small.

Put in a saucepan of water and boil them, but not completely, just a little, as to keep them from turning into mush when cooked in the pan.

After boiling, drain the water.

Take a frying pan, put a little oil inside, and wait for it to heat up. Then add the half-boiled potatoes, add crushed garlic, salt, and dried dill, and fry for 10 minutes maximum.

Serve the sauteed potatoes on a plate, put dill on top, and some extra olive oil.
