"Hungarian Phyllo Pastries with cottage cheese and raisins, which will easily find a place on your dining table and in your heart."

Ingredients

  • cottage cheese - 9 oz (250 g)
  • phyllo pastry - 1 package, sheets
  • raisins - 5.5 oz (150 g)
  • butter - 1/2 cup (125 g)
  • sugar - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • eggs - 3
  • vanilla - 2 sachets

How to make

Mix the cottage cheese with the raisins, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Set aside 1 egg white for spreading. Lay out the phyllo pastry sheets 2 by 2. First, brush them with butter, add some of the filling, form them into rolls and arrange in a buttered baking dish.

Spread the top with the beaten egg white and add the remaining melted butter. Bake in a moderate oven until the phyllo pastry pies obtain a nice tan.
