Ingredients

  • tangerines - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • oranges - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • sugar - 30 oz (850 g)

How to make

Peel the tangerines and oranges. Remove the pith as much as you possible can (removing the pith will tear it to pieces, but it doesn't matter).

Place them in a pan. Add the sugar and stir. Leave it for 40-50 minutes so the water evaporates from the juice.

Place the mixture on the stove for 20 minutes and stir constantly.

Remove it from the stove and blend it with a blender. Place it back on the stove and cook to the desired density.
