measures

How to make

Crushed cabbage is pre-seasoned with olive oil and lemon juice. Combine it in a bowl with finely chopped cleaned tomatoes, cucumbers, onions (in thin crescents) and crushed chilies, which are optional.

Season the salad with chopped mint and parsley and sumac, salt and olive oil. If you do not have sumac, you might skip it, and red onion can replace the green.

For the dressing, use pomegranate juice to taste, being careful not to overdo it. Mix the salad well and serve it.

Optionally, garnish the Coban salad in a plate with cheese. This salad is traditional Turkish cuisine.
