The oven is heated to 360°F (180 ° C). Mix the finely crushed cookies with walnuts, cinnamon and sugar in a large bowl.
Add grated apples and mix well again. Spread a sheet with margarine to the middle and then fold it in half, so that you bind the greased dry half. Brush with margarine the resulting double crust and spread a sixth of the apple mixture on it. Wrap the sheets and place in a covered with paper baking tray that has been pre-greased.
Repeat with the remaining pastry. Bake 20-25 minutes until the strudel is golden. Serve warm or cold, dusted with powdered sugar and vanilla ice cream.
