How to make

Place two sheets of filo pastry sheets on top of each other. Coat the top sheet with melted butter.

Arrange the cherries next to each other at the narrow end of the sheet, by leaving 0.8″ (2 cm) on each side for folding.

Sprinkle it with sugar, then sprinkle it with grinded biscuits and as much cinnamon as you like. Finally, sprinkle the raisins on the cherries.

Fold the two blank side strips inwards. Roll it up into a roll.

Arrange the finished rolls in a lightly greased baking pan, grease them on top with a little oil and bake them at 360°F (180 degrees) until they aquire a golden color.

After baking, leave them to cool and sprinkle them with powdered sugar. This strudel is great!

The Strudel with Cherries and Raisins is ready.
