Ingredients

  • peppers - 11 lb (5 kg) red
  • green tomatoes - 4.5 lb (2 kg)
  • carrots - 4.5 lb (2 kg)
  • cauliflowers - 4.5 lb (2 kg)
  • onions - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • celery - 1 head with the leaves
  • salt - 1 cup (250 g)
  • sugar - 2 cups (500 g)
  • vinegar - 4 1/5 cups (1 l)
  • black pepper - 2 tsp (10 g)

How to make

Wash, clean and cut all the vegetables, sprinkle them with salt and sugar and leave to stand for 24 hours. Mix the drained juice with the vinegar and boil.

Place the vegetables in glass jars, which get 3-4 black pepper peppercorns each, top with the cooled dressing and press with sour cherry branches and a washed river stone.
