  • apricots - 8.8 lb (4 kg)
  • sugar - 2.2 lb (1 kg)

How to make

The apricots are washed and pitted, by cutting them in half.

In clean and dry jars, add the apricots, so that they fill them halfway. Pour 5 tbsp. of sugar and pour water to the top. A geranium leaf is placed on top.

Close the jars with new lids. Arrange them in a large pot, cover them with water and boil them over medium heat for 10 minutes (after the water starts boiling).

If they are greener and harder, they might need 15 minutes. Leave them in the pot until the water cools.

Then they are taken out, wiped and arranged for winter.
