How to make
Remove the seeds from the apples while keeping them mostly whole. Pierce each apple in several places with a fork. Arrange the apples in a baking dish, make minor cuts on their surface with a knife and top them with lemon juice and honey.
Put them to bake in a preheated oven for 15 minutes. Turn the apples over every 5 minutes, then take them out and let them cool slightly.
For the cake, beat the butter and cottage cheese. Gradually add the eggs, powdered sugar, sieved flour and baking powder. Pour the mixture into a cake mold covered with baking paper and tuck the apples inside.
In the apple holes put a mixture of cranberries and cinnamon. Bake the cake in a heated oven at 360°F (180 °C) for about 40-45 minutes.
