"A wonderful sauce that just needs mushrooms, tomatoes and the right spices to prepare."

Ingredients

  • mushrooms - 16 oz (450 g)
  • tomatoes - 32 oz (900 g)
  • oil - 1 tbsp
  • black pepper
  • marjoram

How to make

Wash the mushrooms and cut them. Finely chop the tomatoes and put them in a pot without oil or water but with a little salt for 1 hour to boil.

Pass the resulting mixture through a colander and then pour this sauce into a pot with oil. Add the mushrooms, a little marjoram, salt if necessary and allow to come to a boil. Cook until the mushrooms are softened.

This dish can be served independently with bruschetta or toasted bread, or you can use it as a garnish for meats and pasta.
