How to make
The classic potatoes with cream turn out much tastier in a glass baking dish. They can also be made with the addition of meat such as ham and bacon, as well as different types of aromatic cheeses.
In this recipe, the potatoes are plain and only with yellow cheese, which makes them the perfect garnish for fish or meat.
First, boil the potatoes, until they are semi-cooked.
Strain them from the water and leave them to cool, so that you can peel them without burning yourself.
Turn on the oven and preheat it to 390°F (200°C).
Pour a thin layer of cream on the bottom of the glass baking dish. Sprinkle with grated garlic, salt and black pepper and arrange a layer of sliced potatoes.
Cover them with cream and season again with salt, garlic and black pepper.
Arrange, until you run out of products and place the yellow cheese halfway in the middle on a layer of cream.
Grate the other half of the yellow cheese on top.
Put the lid on the pot and put the gratin in the preheated oven for 35 minutes.
Garnish your favorite steaks or baked fish with these stewed potatoes.
Enjoy these potatoes with cream in a glass baking dish!
