A grill pan is one of the most needed pieces of cookware for any kitchen. Anything cooked in it is ready in no time and oil isn't even required.
Here are 5 recipes for making delicious vegetables, chicken steaks, pork chops, fish fillet and veal meatballs on a grill pan:
1. Vegetables on a grill pan
Ingredients: 1 onion head, 2 zucchini, 3.5 oz (100 g) mushrooms, 1 green and 1 red pepper, 4 tbsp olive oil, black pepper, basil and dill to taste, 3 tbsp lemon juice.
Preparation: Cut the onions into round slices and the zucchini, mushrooms and peppers into strips lengthwise. Salt lightly and sprinkle with black pepper. In a bowl mix 3 tablespoons of olive oil, a little more salt, the finely chopped dill, basil and lemon juice and stir.
Cook the vegetables on both sides in the grill pan that has been smeared with the remaining olive oil and once ready, smear the vegetables with the spice mixture on both sides with a basting brush.
2. Chicken steaks on a grill pan
Ingredients: 4 chicken steaks, 1 tbsp melted butter, 3 tbsp soya sauce, salt and black pepper to taste.
Preparation: Wash the chicken steaks and dry them. In a bowl mix all of the spices, then rub them on the steaks. Grill in the grill pan on both sides until fully ready.
3. Pork chops on a grill pan
Ingredients: 4 pork tenderloins, 3 tbsp mustard, 2 tbsp olive oil, salt and black pepper to taste.
Preparation: Mix the spices until you get a homogeneous mixture, then smear the washed and dried tenderloins with it. Leave them to marinade with it for about an hour, then grill on both sides just briefly so they don't end up too dry.
4. Fish fillet on a grill pan
Ingredients: 4 fish fillets, 2 tbsp olive oil, salt, black pepper, powdered garlic, 2 tbsp lemon juice, several bunches of fresh rosemary.
Preparation: Combine all the ingredients excluding the rosemary and lemon juice in a bowl and season the fillets with it. Grill on both sides briefly in the grill pan and then pour on the lemon juice. Finally sprinkle with the rosemary.
5. Spicy veal meatballs on a grill pan
Ingredients: 17.5 oz (500 g) veal mince, several bunches green onions, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper and cumin to taste, 1 egg, several tablespoons of the breadcrumbs.
Preparation: Season the mince with the finely chopped green onions, all of the spices, egg and enough breadcrumbs to soak up the liquid.
Leave the mixture for half an hour in the refrigerator, then form meatballs from it and cook in the grill pan on both sides.
