Along with kebabs and meatballs, steaks are among the most common meat dishes. They are popular in most parts of the world, differing only in the way they are prepared.
It is clear to everyone, that no matter how fresh the meat looks, it cannot be placed directly on the grill, on the grill pan or in the oven without seasoning or marinating it. Flavoring steaks is a must, so it's a good idea to learn what spices are suitable for the preparation of steaks and how we can flavor them.
1st option for flavoring steaks
The steaks are pounded, greased with a little oil and sprinkled with as much salt and black pepper as you like. When prepared this way, they are best prepared on a grill or grill pan.
2nd option for flavoring steaks
Prepare a marinade of pickle juice, finely chopped onion and a few cloves of garlic. Leave the steaks to soak in the marinade for a few hours, then take them out and sprinkle them with salt and black pepper. This recipe is also especially suitable for making grilled steaks or pan-grilled steaks.
3rd option for flavoring steaks
The steaks are pounded with a wooden mallet and seasoned with salt and black pepper. In a separate bowl, mix a little mustard, oil, finely chopped garlic, mayonnaise and tomato puree or ketchup. The steaks are generously spread on both sides with this mixture and can be baked in the oven with a little beer or water.
4th option for flavoring steaks
Season the steaks with salt and black pepper and place them in a guvec. Add a few grains of allspice, 2 cloves of unpeeled garlic and 2 bay leaves. Pour 300 ml of beer over everything and bake until the meat is fully cooked.
5th option for flavoring steaks
Chicken steaks are spread with melted butter, paprika and as much salt and black pepper as you like. Put them in a guvec and add a little water. Once they are almost ready and the liquid has evaporated, make a mixture of 200 g of sour cream and 250 g of yogurt, which is poured over them. Sprinkle them with rosemary.
6th option for flavoring steaks
If you want to make spicy steaks, you can use the juice from a jar of hot peppers for the marinade sauce, but it is better to dry the meat after it has been soaked for about 1 hour, so that it doesn't become too spicy. Then season it with salt and it is ready for both grilling and baking. If you choose the second option, add a little water or beer to the steaks.
