It is also recommended to add 1/2 tsp ground black pepper to green tea in the struggle for weight loss. This enhances the tea's effect.
This, of course, is not the only benefit that black pepper can provide. The spice has antibacterial properties - it is exceptionally effective in treating cold, cough, angina.
The easiest way to use it is to add it to already cooked soup. Another folk medicine recipe includes honey, as well as black pepper.
Mix 1 cup of honey with 1 tbsp black pepper - stir well so that the pepper is distributed everywhere. Drink 1 tsp from this blend at least 3 times a day. The recipe is effective for bronchitis and angina.
There is another version of this recipe - besides black pepper and honey, use nutmeg. Add 1/2 tsp of it to the honey as well. Take 1 tsp of the mixture but don't swallow the remedy right away - keep it in your mouth for awhile.
Against sore throat there is another recipe, for this one you will need brandy. This method is not suitable for giving to pregnant women, infants and small children.
