Delicious cake

What's better than preparing homemade cakes, that are not only delicious but inexpensive as well? The first economical recipe we have prepared contains Turkish delight. If you like you can add walnuts, but it's not mandatory. However, if you do have a lemon at home, you can add a little lemon zest.

Cake with Turkish Delight

Ingredients: 1 cup yoghurt, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 10 tablespoons oil, 1 cup sugar, 2 cups flour, Turkish delight.

Preparation: Put the baking soda in the yoghurt and once it becomes effervescent, add the oil. Stir well until homogenized and then add the sugar. Then gradually pour in the flour.

Pour the mixture into a baking tray, sprinkled with oil and flour in advance, arrange small pieces of Turkish delight on top. Bake in a moderate oven.

Cheap cake

The next recipe is for cake with homemade jam, one that you like and have at home.

Whip 1 cup water with 2/3 cup sugar and 1/2 cup oil. Then "extinguish" 1 teaspoon baking soda in a little vinegar and add them to the other ingredients.

Optionally, add 1 tsp vanilla essence for flavor and begin adding the flour - to get a cake dough. Finally, pour in the jam and put the cake in an appropriate tray. Bake in a moderate oven.

The next proposal is for cake with Nescafe. Beat 2 eggs and about 1 cup of sugar, then add 1/2 cup yoghurt, in which you have placed 1 teaspoon baking soda and 1 cup oil in advance. Also add in about 1/2 cup cooled, instant coffee.

Stir well and add 2 cups flour - you need to get a mixture with the consistency of cake dough. If necessary, add some more flour.

Bake the cake in a preheated oven.

The next recipe turns out remarkably delicious with apricot or strawberry jam.

Cake with Apricot Jam

Ingredients: 1 yoghurt, 3/4 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons oil, 1-2 vanilla packets, 2 teaspoons baking soda, 3 cups flour, homemade apricot jam.

Preparation: First beat the yoghurt with the sugar, then add the baking soda to this mixture. Once it bubbles, add the vanilla, oil and gradually the flour. Once it becomes thick enough, you can add the apricot jam.

Stir very well and pour it into a suitable tray - smeared with oil and sprinkled with flour in advance. Bake at 340°F (170 °C) until browned. Once cooled, you can sprinkle with powdered sugar.
