One of the easiest ways to please your loved ones with a delicious and juicy cake is when you make a cake with ready-made cake layers, that are bought from the store.
Of course, they can't be compared to homemade cake layers, but they are an acceptable alternative when in a hurry.
Sometimes, however, the shape of the ready-made cake layers does not match in shape and size of the cake tin, which we are using to making the cake. And so we come to the absurd situation of trying to make a round cake with square cake layers.
Although it sounds ridiculous at first glance, many cooks have faced this struggle. The good news is that making a round cake with square cake layers is a relatively easy job.
First, remove the cake layers from the package and place them on a hard, flat surface - a table or marble countertop. Place the cake tin, which you are using to prepare the cake, on the cake layer and carefully cut out the shape with a knife.
Of course, the round shape of the cake should be smaller in size so that you can cut the cake layers into a perfect oval.
Repeat the same procedure with the other cake layers.
Done! You now have round cake layers with which you can prepare a Garash cake, an easy chocolate cake or a Dobos cake.
