Once it has boiled (it will take about 5-10 minutes to boil), reduce the heat and leave the vegetables to simmer for about 20 minutes, until they soften and the liquid has almost evaporated - only about 1/4 cup (60 ml) should remain.

Stir occasionally. When this happens, strain the liquid and use it for up to 1 week. It is ready!

Second way:

Use pomegranate juice - it has a deep red color and is suitable for food coloring.

Third way:

Use raspberries or strawberries - Mash them in a strainer, until you squeeze the juice from them and only the seeds remain on top. This way of making cake paint at home will give a unique flavor to all kinds of pastries and creams!

Fourth way:

Soak dried hibiscus flowers in water - you will need about 2 tablespoons (5 g) of flowers and one cup (240 ml) of hot water. Leave it for 5 minutes and strain. This liquid adds a very pleasant floral aroma. You can also use hibiscus tea, it will probably be easier to find in stores.
