When we talk about a rational and healthy diet, beets are a must-have product, which is good to be included in our menu or diet.
It belongs to the so-called superfoods and this is by no accident. Such an honorable place is assigned to it, because of its healing and nutritional qualities.
Beets are rich in vitamins C, A, PP, B1, B2, B5, B6, B9 and also contain many valuable minerals, antioxidants, flavonoids and carotenoids, folic acid, healthy sugars, proteins and carbohydrates.

Also suitable for the root vegetable are some seeds such as sesame seeds, sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds. To add flavor to roasted beets, they must be lightly roasted.
