How to make
Wash the rooster and cut it into portions.
Braise the separate pieces of meat in a pot with plenty of oil.
Cut the sauerkraut into medium coarse pieces and add it to the meat, while adding 1 tsp paprika.
Top off with water and boil on low, with the lid closed or slightly open, so the water doesn't evaporate because roosters have tougher meat and need to boil well on low heat.
Taste it - if the meat tears easily add the washed rice and if desired a dried red chili pepper. Once the rice is boiled, turn the stove off and you've got yourself a tasty dish with a free-range rooster.
