"Appetizing rabbit, for which you`ll need to double your quantities of beer - for cooking it and for drinking with it!"

Ingredients

  • rabbits - 1
  • onions - 3 chapters on - large
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • flour - 4 tablespoons with peak
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • beer - 2 cups (500 ml)
  • potatoes - 4 - 5
  • black pepper
  • savory
  • salt
  • cooking oil
  • bay leaves - 2 - 3
measures

How to make

Portion out the rabbit and soak through the night in equal parts water and vinegar with bay leaves and black pepper. Mix well the flour, paprika, 1 tsp oil, pepper, savory and a bit of beer, just to get a smooth sauce.

Smeared this on the washed, drained and dried pieces of rabbit. Chop a large onion and fry in oil until it softens and add the crushed garlic. Remove and pour into an oiled baking dish as a base. In the same dish, heat a little oil and quickly fry the cleaned and sliced potatoes 2 times. Then spread them over the onions.

The marinated rabbit pieces are arranged on top. Add the bay leaves from the marinade and the remaining beer. Use a dish covered with foil and put the food in to bake for about half an hour in a moderately heated oven.

Finally, remove the foil and cook for another minute.
