Ingredients

  • powdered sugar - 1 cup
  • semolina - 1 cup
  • butter - 1/3 cup (80 g)
  • baking powder - 1 packet
  • vanilla - 1
  • apples - 28 oz (800 g) (pears or quinces)
  • sugar - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp

How to make

In a dry bowl, mix together the semolina, powdered sugar, baking powder and vanilla well.

Wash, peel and coarsely grate the fruits, mix them with the sugar and cinnamon.

Butter a tray and lay on a 1/2″ (1 cm) thick layer of the dry mixture.

Throw on some of the fruit mixture on top by hand.

Alternate between the 2 mixtures this way. Finish off with dry mixture.

Cover with the finely chopped pieces of butter, distribute them evenly along the entire surface.

Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven until reddened.

Once cooled, cut it and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
