Ingredients

  • dough
  • flour - 3 cups (700 g)
  • water - 1 2/3 cups (400 g)
  • yeast - 1 1/3 tsp (7 g) dry
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • oil - 2 tablespoons
  • stuffing
  • feta cheese - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • cheese - 5.5 oz (150 g)
  • oil - or butter for smearing

How to make

Sift the flour. Add the salt. Make a well, pour the oil in it and the yeast dissolved in the water. Knead a soft dough.

Leave it to rise in a warm area for about 1 hour. Crumble the feta cheese in a bowl, grate the cheese in another.

Tear off a medium-sized ball of dough and roll it out into a circle onto a floured counter. If necessary, sprinkle more flour to prevent the dough from sticking to the rolling pin.

Smear the rolled out sheet with oil or melted butter, sprinkle with feta cheese and cheese. Fold it in from all sides and roll it out again.

Bake in a heated and oiled pan on both sides until ready.
