  • flour - 4 cups
  • baking soda - 1 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • yoghurt - 2 cups

How to make

Sift the flour with the salt and baking soda. Add the yoghurt and mash the ingredients with a fork to obtain a rough dough.

Pour the mixture onto a pre-floured surface and, as fast as you can, knead a thick mass for 1-2 min. max and form it into a ball.

Transfer the dough into a tray covered with baking paper. With a sharp knife, make diagonal cuts along its surface. Bake the soda bread for about 40 min. in a preheated 390°F (200 °C) oven.

After taking it out, place it on a cooking grid to cool before cutting it.
