"This lovely Biscuit Cake with Caramel easily finds a place at any table."

Ingredients

  • biscuits - 2 packets, plain
  • sour cream - 1 2/3 cups (400 g)
  • yoghurt - 1 cup (250 g), full fat
  • jelly - 1 jar, strawberry
  • strawberries - 10, optional
  • sugar - 3 - 5 tbsp
  • caramel
  • sugar
  • vanilla

How to make

Pour the cream and yoghurt in a deep bowl, add the sugar and stir.

Add the jelly and stir once again. Have a taste and if you'd like a sweeter cake, add more sugar.

Arrange a layer of biscuits in a form - you can leave them whole. Smear generously with the strawberry jelly mixture, cut small pieces of the fresh strawberries and add them if you'd like an even richer strawberry flavor (I personally didn't use strawberries).

Keep alternating between biscuits and cream until you're out of biscuits.

Top off with several strawberries from the jelly and pour on the caramel. Make further decorations as desired.
