How to make
Soak the beans overnight. The next day, pour out the water and wash them very well. Put the beans in a pot with cold water and boil on low heat until ready, then strain.
Heat the oil in an oven dish with a nonstick coating, add the diced vegetables (onions, peppers, carrots and celery), add the cube of butter too.
Braise until slightly softened, throw in the chili pepper whole, salt. To these, add the tomato paste and juice and spearmint sprigs, stir.
Pour the boiled and strained beans in the oven dish with the veggies, then add the mixed together flour and paprika, which you've diluted in a little water to a slush. Stir and pour in warm water to cover the ingredients, stir and salt to taste.
Put it in a preheated 390°F (200 °C) oven for about 40 min. until it catches a light and slightly crispy crust. These baked beans are absolutely delicious and melt in your mouth.
